OUR HISTORY

Dr. Michael Campbell opened Optical Solutions in 1988 at the Plaza at Shelter Cove location.  In 1992 he opened his second location at the Island Head Plaza.  With hard work, customer satisfaction, and continuously investing back into the practice and community, in 1999, Dr. Michael Campbell and his business, Optical Solutions, was voted Small Business of the Year.  In 2005 Dr. Campbell opened the new state of the art facility at 10 Hospital Center Common, adjacent to the Hospital, where we have a full surfacing lab, extensive contact lens practice, optical dispensary, as well as a cutting edge LASIK suite.  In 2006, Optical Solutions welcomes a third location, in Bluffton, to be headed up by Dr. Robert Szypczak.
